About Hickory Creek Kayaks

Hickory Creek Kayaks is owned and operated by long time Denton County resident, Chad Stearns. Chad has parlayed his love of water into a profession – his primary reward being getting to share that passion with others.

When you schedule your excursion, Chad will personally help you select your craft and gear, he will advise you on your journey, launch your party, and meet you to retrieve your craft after your adventure.

We have several kayaks and canoes to choose from – and Chad will help you select the best available craft for your party and itinerary. Life jackets and paddles are included. We currently launch either along Hickory Creek or at Lake Lewisville.

Hickory Creek Kayak also offers add on services – such as group drone photos which you can request prior to your departure.

Most importantly – we want you to have a great time and enjoy the water!
